Reliance Jio is planning to extend 4G data plans for its customers
Reliance Jio is planning to extend 4G data plans for its customers:- According to reports, Reliance Jio subscribers are facing inadequate connectivity issues due to interconnectivity congestion and inappropriate service parameters in the network. With over 75 calls failing out of every 100 calls attempts, the condition is serious for the network as Indian public is not able to enjoy Jio’s free voice offers.
The company on Thursday admitted that the customers are facing severe quality service issues while announcing the quarterly results. “This is in breach of Quality of Service regulation that not more than 5 calls out of every 1,000 call attempts can fail. The benefits of its superior voice technology have been denied to public at large due to the POI congestion,” it said.
Mukesh Ambani on Reliance Jio
Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries Limited commented to the situation by saying, “We are delighted and humbled by the enthusiastic adoption of Jio by India. Jio is built to empower every Indian with the power of data.”He added that Jio is customer-obsessed and committed to improve every day to exceed expectations of the customers.
Reliance Jio has redesigned its sign-up practice by introducing Aadhaar-based paper-less activation across 4,100 cities and towns and made it 100% digital.
Recently, Jio has also claimed to cross 16 million subscribers in the first month of operations. The success rate of Reliance Jio is the fastest among its fellow telecom operators so far.
Jio users are getting access to 4GB data per day, 4500 minutes national voice, video and messaging services along with the full bouquet of Jio applications and content, free of cost for 90 days as a part of Jio’s “Welcome Offer”.
Despite the competition from telecom operators like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular, Reliance Jio is ready to extend the free data service beyond December 2016 due to the aim to boost customer procurement.
This act by Reliance Jio may create problems for other networks but will definitely prove to be a plus point for the Jio network.
