Air-India adds new centers to its ‘Spot Fare’ scheme

In an official announcement Air India on Monday said that it has added more centers to its spot fare scheme.

According to the scheme offered by the airlines, the passengers will be offered fares equivalent to that of second class seat ticket of Rajdhani Express.

The airline stated that on an account of good response and with an aim to enhance the growth of the airline, Air India has decided to add seven new centers under its Spot Fare scheme.

Earlier, the carrier had offered ‘Super Fare’ seats to passengers, who were not able to get confirmed bookings on Rajdhani Express at an equivalent price to that of the first class seats in the train.

With only a few domestic sectors included the scheme was launched June 26 and will end on September 30.

These tickets can only be booked within four hours of the departure time of the flight.

The airlines added that the scheme is available for more than 100 flights across the nation.
