A sense of Closure for the 1993 Mumbai Blasts’ victims
The agony induced by the 1993 Mumbai Terrorist Blasts finally received some vent as an anti-terror court in Mumbai issued a warrant to execute one of the convicts, Yakub Memon, a 53 year old, who was found guilty of conspiracy in 2007. He is likely to be hanged on July 30th if his mercy petition gets rejected by the Supreme Court.
This will be the first execution related to the 1993 Blasts which saw the death of 250 innocents. Although the date of execution can change, the verdict is final.
Maybe this will give some closure for the families and friends of those killed.
