A Glittering Gala Organized By AIAC


To honour women and to credit the spirit of women empowerment, All India Achievers Conference acknowledged various Business Tycoon and Women Achievers in the form of Business Excellence Awards and Women Achievers Awards at Le Meridien, Delhi. The list of achievers included women from every stream like Cinema, Television and Media, who were felicitated with the AAIC Awards for Excellence & Woman Achiever Awards (in various categories) at a event organised by senior league journalist turned entrepreneur Abhishek Bachchan.

The MLA and Chairperson Delhi Women Commission, Ms. Barkha Singh, graced the ceremony being the Chief Guest. “Earlier when I met working women, they were more of dependent in nature. Now-a-days, I can see more CEOs and entrepreneurs. This change is not happening in the lower level of the society and we need to make that.”


The motive of the conference on “Individual Achievements & Nation Building” was to honour men and women from different fields such as Real Estate, Industry,Education, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare, Social Work, Philanthropy, Creative Arts, Service, Astrology, Media and Performing Arts etc. with the AIAC Awards for Excellence in their chosen vocation.

The event was embellished with many known faces from television industry, like the famous comedian Rakesh Bedi, Avtar Gill, Veteran Raza Murad etc. Dr Janice Darbari Hony.Consul General also congratulated the achievers for their outstanding performance.


The event praised women from every strata of India. It congratulated and honoured women who have literally risen from the bottom of a well to the peak of the mountain, who have worked day and night to be where they are right now and have overcome poverty and challenges to arise out of the dust of the earth to emerge as winners.

Further talking about the event, Abhishek Bachchan, the Executive Director of AIAC said, “Abhishek Bachchan, Executive Director of AIAC said, “The AIAC Awards for Excellence (in various categories) instituted in the year 1989 by the All India Achievers Conference is a nationally appreciated recognition that comes rarely and to a few who have worked hard to achieve and excel in their chosen field of activity to become role models worthy of emulation by others. It symbolises the spirit of outstanding ‘achievement’ and ‘excellence’ in one go.”


All India Achievers Conference is organised every year to bring both intellectual women and men under the limelight and to give them recognition by awarding them for their out-of-the-box contribution to various fields.
