CCTV footage shows Sukesh Chandrasekhar crying when luxury items were found in the conman’s cell in Mandoli jail.
After expensive clothes and slippers were seized from conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s cell, the Tihar jail authorities have ordered a probe. The jail authorities searched for Sukesh’s cell and found two pairs of pants and Gucci shoes. The price of the pants is estimated to be worth Rs 80,000, and the shoes are estimated to be around Rs 1.5 lakh.
News agency ANI tweeted and showed a glimpse of the luxuries enjoyed by the accused in the 200 crore extortion case.

In a video shared by a news agency, alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar was pictured with many luxurious items in his jail cell. CCTV visuals showed the accused in the ₹200-crore extortion case sobbing at the Mandoli jail.
Chandrasekhar stood in the corner of his cell and wept before Jailor Deepak Sharma and another officer as they carried out the surprise raid along with CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) personnel.
Referring to concerned officials from the prison, ANI quoted that the authorities concerned would probe and act against the culprit who leaked the footage.
According to reports, the Patiala House court in Delhi sentenced Sukesh to nine days of ED custody over a money laundering charge filed by Japna Singh, wife of former Religare promoter Malvinder Singh. Additionally, the court allowed ED to auction 26 vehicles belonging to his wife, Leena Maria, who was accused of duping Aditi Singh, wife of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh.
