Deadline to file ITR extended to 31 December

Usually, the ITR filing date is due by the end of July. It was extended last time in May till September 30.

Emergency landing facility for IAF gets unveiled

Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister and Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport and Highways jointly launched ELF (Emergency Landing Facility) for the Indian Air Force (IAF) at Satta-Gandhav stretch on NH-925A near Barner, Rajasthan.

For the first time, National Highest will be used for emergency landings of the Indian Air Force Aircraft.

IAF, NHAI, and the private sector completed the construction of the ELF in 19 months regardless of Covid-19 restrictions.

Telangana starts vaccine supply by Drone

The Telangana government started delivering medicines and corona vaccines with the help of drones on a trial basis in the Vikarabad district of Telangana from 9 September to 17 October.

The latest initiative named, ‘Medicine From The Sky’, is a joint project through an association, formed by the Telangana government with the Indian drone delivery start-up firm Skye Air Mobility. The Skye Air Mobility has joined together with courier service BlueDart Express to provide drone-based delivery and drone flights to conduct these trials.

IIT-BHU researchers bring out a microalgae-based solution for wastewater treatment

Researchers of the Indian Institute of Technology of Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) have come out with a solution for wastewater treatment.

The Biological wastewater treatment would clean the water up to 90% applying microalgae and machine learning to treat wastewater.

This treated water procured from the microalgae-based treatment plant meets the WHO criteria. Therefore, it is safe to discharge in the rivers. Moreover, the treated water can be used for cleaning purposes and irrigation. Thus, would help to lessen the load on available natural freshwater resources.
