Passenger takes control of the airplane in an emergency situation, all the passengers safe 

Passenger takes control of the airplane, crash lands near the runway, fortunately saves lives.

Passenger takes control of the airplane, crash lands near the runway after the pilot falls down because of some serious health conditions.


A small plane took off from Westchester, New York, met with a troubled situation when a 79 year old pilot fell down and fainted because of some serious medical situation during the final approach. But then a brave Connecticut woman passenger on board took control of the airplane, attempting to land it safely and save all the people travelling in the airplane. 

Amid the chaos, and bravery of the woman, the plane crashed near a runway at Martha’s Vineyard Airport in West Tisbury,  Massachusetts. The impact caused the left wing of the plane to break in half, leading to a horrifying situation among the passengers.

There are no casualties, Pilot was in critical condition while passengers got injured. 

After the crash, emergency teams quickly arrived at the location and fastly rescued all the people present there and provided medical assistance to them.

The pilot was airlifted to the Boston hospital because of his serious and life- threatening condition. While all the passengers were taken to the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital before they went to their homes.

Teams are made for the investigation of the whole incident involving the State Police-Oak Bluffs Barracks, the State Police Detective Unit for the Cape and Islands District, and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Officials say that it was “a Piper Meridian Turbo Prop 6-seat plane.
