As per the report, it was observed that Ukrainian soldiers utilized North Korean rockets to blast Russian forces that were allegedly seized by a friendly country before being delivered to Ukraine.The Ukrainian defense ministry stated that these arms were captured from the Russians.

North Korea and Russia have denied arms transactions:

The United States has previously accused North Korea of supplying arms to Russia, including alleged shipments by sea. However, concrete evidence for such claims has not been presented, and North Korean weapons have not been widely seen on Ukrainian battlefields. Both North Korea and Russia have denied engaging in arms transactions.

The North Korean weapons were displayed by Ukrainian troops operating Soviet-era Grad multiple-launch rocket systems near the devastated eastern city of Bakhmut, which has been the site of prolonged and fierce fighting.

Russia-North Korea Ties: 

In a noteworthy development, Russia’s Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, recently visited Pyongyang to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War. This visit marked the first time when a top Russian defense official had been to North Korea since the Soviet Union’s dissolution in 1991. During his visit, Shoigu was photographed viewing banned North Korean ballistic missiles alongside leader Kim Jong Un at a military expo in Pyongyang, signifying growing ties between the two nations as they each navigate tensions with the United States.
