Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a well-known actress in South India but better known for portraying Raji in ‘The Family Man’. After a long time, she finally opened up about her emotional Merry-go-round while being through a divorce with Naga Chaitanya.
While dealing with separation, sometimes stars have to face backlash and trolls from their fans. Addressing the unkind comments received on social media, she said, “Stars thrive on the love of their fans and I am extremely grateful for the support and love I receive on social media. It keeps the engagement alive between a fan and an actor. I like to share, and when I do, I am inviting these people into my life. They are now connected to my life.
However, if my opinions and actions do not align with their worldview, it is going to disappoint them. Yes, they are going to abuse and troll you, but then, that kind of disagreement happens with friends and family as well. The problem lies in anonymity. I did not demand unconditional acceptance but there is a manner in which disapproval can be communicated – that is all I asked for. We can have different opinions but also have compassion and kindness for one another. That is what I was trying to put across too.”
Samantha told Film Companion about her plans for the future post her separation, “With everything that has happened so far this year in my personal life, I do not have any expectations. All my carefully laid plans have crumbled. I have no expectations. I am open to whatever the future has in store for me. I just believe that I will give it my very best.”
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced the news of divorce on October 2 in a joint statement through their social media handles. Their statement read, “We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers, and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thank you for your support.”
Taapsee & Samantha are likely to work together!
With this, Samantha also indicated that soon she and Taapsee Pannu might collaborate on a project. Pannu revealed that she had offered Samantha something, and Taapsee is going to produce it. To this, Samantha looked very happy with the proposal.

Vicky Kaushal who is now preparing for his wedding with Katrina Kaif also talked about some of his insecurities about having a career in the field of acting. At the age of 25-26, when he saw his engineering friends buying cars and houses, or getting settled in their lives, he was struggling to reach the audition venue.
“When I was waiting for Bus no. 33 to go to some auditions at Aaramnagar, my friends are heading towards a well-settled life. This question popped-up in my head- Sahi to aa Gaya na?
However, now tables have turned and this is the time I was waiting for,” said the Sardar Udham Singh actor.
In the interview with the Film companion, Vicky admitted that stardom could be easily achieved these days. By comparing today’s era with the earlier times, he said, “When we were not in a digital age, only if you were genuinely great in something, you would receive the title (Star). Now, you get the title based on how much people are talking about you. If you are trending for 10 days, you will be a star on the 11th day. It is an illusion. “
