In her social media post, Rashmika introduced her character, Geetanjali. The intriguing poster showcases her wearing a maroon and white checkered silk saree with a smudged bindi on her forehead and her hair messily tied back. Despite her dishevelled appearance, she exudes confidence with a mysterious smile at the corner of her lips, portraying determination and enigma.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, “Animal” is a collaborative effort between T-Series and Cine1 Studios. The film also features Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, and Shakti Kapoor in pivotal roles. The official teaser for the film is set to be unveiled on September 28.
Multilingual Delay, Thrilling Teaser
Originally scheduled for an August 11 release, “Animal” was postponed to December 1 due to the time-consuming production process of creating songs in multiple languages. Apart from Hindi, the film will also be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The pre-teaser released in June provided glimpses of the world of “Animal,” emphasizing its adrenaline-pumping action thriller nature.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for directing the Telugu blockbuster “Arjun Reddy” and its Hindi remake “Kabir Singh,” is no stranger to success at the box office, although both films faced criticism for their portrayal of toxic masculinity.
