“Animal” delves into a strained father-son relationship amidst the backdrop of a brutal underworld. This leads the protagonist, portrayed by Ranbir Kapoor, down a path of becoming a psychopath. The teaser, lasting over two minutes, starts with a conversation between Rashmika Mandanna and Ranbir Kapoor about having children.

It then introduces Ranbir’s aggressive father, played by Anil Kapoor. Despite his father’s flaws, Ranbir defends him as the “best father” and forbids any discussion about him. The teaser unfolds with intense action, violence, car chases, and Bobby Deol as Ranbir’s adversary.

Subsequently, it was revealed that Tripti Dimri had joined the cast. In March 2022, news broke that Rashmika Mandanna had replaced Parineeti Chopra, who opted for Imtiaz Ali’s “Chamkila” over “Animal.” Rashmika was cast in the role of Geetanjali, Ranbir’s wife.
