Actor Radhika Apte has opened up about one of the most difficult experiences of her career, recalling the fear and uncertainty she faced after an intimate clip from one of her projects was leaked. In a recent interview with India Today, the actor explained how the incident affected not only her professionally but also her sense of personal safety. She said she was unable to leave her home for four days because she feared that the situation could reach her doorstep.

Discussing the challenges surrounding intimate scenes, Radhika said that agreeing to an intimate scene as part of a film is very different from having footage circulate without control. Radhika revealed that she eventually contacted her driver and spot dada to ask whether they had seen the leaked footage. She wanted to know whether they were comfortable continuing to work with her and, more importantly, whether she could rely on them for her safety.

Both men reassured her that they would look after her. Their response gave Radhika some comfort during a period when she was feeling particularly vulnerable.

Interestingly, she revealed that she had recently become a mother when the project came to her and was not initially planning to return to work so soon. She said she accepted the project because Motwane was directing it.
