Oscars 2020: Parasite became the first non-English film to win Best picture
If you also think that playing Joker was the best performance of the year, you could not be happier than listening to Joaquin Phoenix speech after winning the Best Actor in Oscar. The 92nd Academy Awards was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Parasite won the Best Picture award and Best International Feature film award. It became the first film not in the English language to ever win the best picture. Parasite won 4 awards on the Oscars night- Best Original screenplay, Best International Feature Film, Best Director (Bong Joon-ho), and Best Picture.
World-renowned singer Eminem brought the house down with a surprise performance at Academy Awards 2020. He got a standing ovation for singing his famous song – Lose Yourself.
Renee Zellweger won the Best Actress award for Judy defeating the likes of Charlize Theron for Bombshell, Scarlett Johansson for Marriage Story, Cynthia Erivo for Harriet and Saoirse Roman for Little Women.
Once Upon a time in Hollywood won an award for best production design and Brad Pitt won Best Supporting Actor for the same movie. Ford v Ferrari and won in two category- Best Film Editing and Best Sound Editing.
