Here is a list of incredible movies you can enjoy with your mother this Mother’s Day.

English Vinglish

She is a quiet, sweet-tempered house manager. She endures small slights from her well-educated husband and daughter every day due to her inability to speak and understand English.

Badla

Among the best films of 2019, Badla stands out. It is a revenge drama about a mother (Amrita) whose son was murdered by an influential lady (Taapsee). If her child is in trouble, a mother can be a warrior in no time.

Mom

This movie tells the story of a stepmother who goes to all lengths in order to avenge the molestation of her daughter. Mom was an eye-opener for society as it emphasized that a mother’s love is unconditional.

Panga

Panga is an emotional roller coaster tale of a middle-class Indian woman who is a forgotten Kabaddi world champion. Inner desire to give a new meaning to her life as a wife and mother, she embarks on a journey to return to the sport despite the challenges of age and societal pressures of family responsibility.

Bhadhaai Ho

One of the most loved movies starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Badhaai Ho, shows how a young man’s life turns upside down when he knows his mother is pregnant. Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao give some fantastic performances. The film is laced with humour and emotions… a total family entertainer!

Secret Superstar

The film might have been a coming-of-age story of a teenage girl who aspires to be a singer, but it was an ode to motherhood. Not only was Zaira Wasim a Secret superstar, but also her Mother Najma was a secret ninja who pushed all limits for her daughter.

Helicopter Eela

An overprotective mother is the protagonist of this coming-of-age story. Based on the celebrated Gujarati play Beta Kaagdo by Anand Gandhi, Helicopter Eela explores both motherhood and womanhood. Mothers are always worried. Even for a moment, they can’t stop worrying. It can sometimes become obsessive, but there is always a reason. Mothers have a hard time letting go and living for themselves. That’s the film’s message. Let go of the strings that bind parents to their children and let life flow.

Mimi

Mimi revolves around a small-town girl who agrees to become a surrogate for a couple to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress. She doesn’t expect the couple to abandon her after learning about the complications of her pregnancy. Kriti Sanon and Pankaj Tripathi star in this movie that will make you laugh and cry at the same time!

We Are Family

We Are Family is about Maya and Aman, divorced and sharing a cordial relationship with their three kids. Shreya doesn’t seem to be popular with Aman’s kids when he introduces her. Shreya is not too keen on joining the family until she is diagnosed with cervical cancer. The bitter-sweet story of love, relationship, and parenthood will move you.
