Women’s Reservation Bill Inspires Kangana’s Selection

The Luv Kush Ramleela Committee, organizers of the event, chose Kangana Ranaut for this momentous occasion. Their decision was influenced by the recent passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill. Arjun Singh, the committee’s president, shared, “For the first time in 50 years of our event, it will be a woman who will do the Ravan Dahan. And that’s why we chose Kangana ji for the same.”

However, Kangana’s selection for this historic event has sparked discussions and raised questions about why she was chosen over other accomplished individuals. One Twitter user expressed their concerns, saying, “I have nothing against Kangana Ranaut but my questions as a commoner are:

1) Why was Kangana selected as the 1st woman to burn Ravan effigy in 50 years?

2) why are no armed forces female veterans selected to do this who have genuinely burnt the evil?

This user’s questions resonated with many, sparking a wave of reactions and inquiries, with many wondering why Kangana was chosen for this significant role.

Criteria for Inclusive Milestones

While Kangana’s participation in this event is indeed a remarkable moment, it has opened up discussions about the criteria for such roles and opportunities. It’s a reminder that while celebrating milestones and achievements, it’s crucial to maintain transparency and inclusivity, ensuring that individuals from various fields and backgrounds are recognized for their contributions to society.

This development catalyzes important conversations around women’s roles in diverse fields, encouraging the continued recognition of their achievements, be it in the world of entertainment, the armed forces, or scientific exploration.

It is a moment in time that underlines the significance of promoting gender equality and celebrating the accomplishments of women from all walks of life.
