India Couture Week: Glamorous Showstoppers Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan Rock the Ramp in Ethereal Creations by Shantnu-Nikhil!
The India Couture Week 2023 witnessed a mesmerising display of fashion as Bollywood stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan took the ramp by storm, turning showstoppers for the renowned designer duo Shantnu and Nikhil.
Held in New Delhi, the seventh day of the fashion extravaganza featured the Delhi-based designers’ stunning collection called “Etheria.” The ethereal ethnic creations left the audience spellbound.

Sara Ali Khan, graced the runway as a modern bride, donning a pastel pink lehenga set. The traditional skirt, with its billowing and voluminous design, boasted heavy embroidery and glitzy accents in intricate patterns. The ensemble was completed with a sultry bralette featuring an attached cape train adorned with pearls and sparkling embellishments.
Aditya Roy Kapur, the dashing Bollywood heartthrob, looked impeccable in an ivory sherwani that featured an innovative pleated drape etched into the pocket. His outfit was embellished with tone-on-tone embroidery and ornate buttons, adding a touch of regality. To complement the look, Aditya chose flared ivory trousers and a pair of juttis.

Shantnu and Nikhil’s latest collection drew inspiration from their travels across Italy, particularly Catania in Sicily. The fusion of Roman and Indian elements resulted in outfits accentuated with bejewelled capes, ornate veils, gloves, and billowing silhouettes, creating a truly captivating blend of cultures.
The India Couture Week 2023 commenced on July 25 in New Delhi with a mesmerising opening show by Falguni Shane Peacock. Throughout the event, other prominent designers such as Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Tarun Tahiliani, Varun Bahl, Gaurav Gupta, and Kunal Rawal showcased their exceptional creations.
The fashion extravaganza has undoubtedly been a celebration of creativity, artistry, and glamour, and Aditya and Sara’s appearance on the runway for Shantanu and Nikhil added an extra touch of glitz and allure to the already dazzling event.
