Dream Girl 2, the sequel directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, follows in the footsteps of Ayushmann Khurrana’s successful 2019 film, Dream Girl, and also features Ananya Panday. The film’s second-day box office collection showcased a significant surge, garnering ₹14 crore on Saturday. This amount surpassed the earnings of Gadar 2 on its 16th day post-release. In comparison, Dream Girl 2 had collected ₹10.69 crore on Friday. This combined total of ₹24.69 crore over two days solidified the film’s strong initial performance, with an overall Hindi occupancy of 41.40% recorded on Saturday.

Under Raaj Shaandilyaa’s direction, Dream Girl 2 witnesses Ayushmann Khurrana reprising his role as Karam. In a quirky turn of events, Karam decides to adopt the persona of Pooja to raise funds for his impending marriage with Ananya Panday’s character. The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring notable names such as Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, and others, with production helmed by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures.
