Arjun Patiala a film in film is a light rom-com movie with exaggerated comedy. The film is directed by Rohit Jugraj casting Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Sharma, Kriti Sanon with Pankaj Tripathi and Sunny Leone as special appearances.
It is a light, one time watch movie. It the movie, the story of a film is being narrated. In this story, Diljit and Varun are Cops and Kriiti is a news reporter. All the protagonists tried their best to fit in their roles well.
Pankaj Tripathi is Probably Underused
The movie opens with the special appearance of Pankaj Tripathi, who is directing the film in this movie. It was disappointing to find him in an average role play. Perhaps, his capabilities were underused.
The scripting and acting was moderate. Though,scene direction could have been better. The film was not fitting any particular genre. It was an average screen play. Neither it was pure comedy nor romance. At certain places, it tried to include elements of thrill but perhaps, is not that impactful.
The songs were also average. The special appearance of Sunny Leone was seen in the item song ‘Crazy Habibi vs Decent Munday’ which was an okay performance.
The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar. We will rate the movie with 2.5 stars. If you are free and want a comedy dose, you must give it a watch. It is critical to say that movie will do amazing on the box office since we have a quirky thriller, Judgementall Hai Kya along side starring Kangna Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao.
