After Deepika Padukone announced being a presenter at the Academy Awards 2023, ‘Teacher’ Anupam Kher drops a sweet note congratulating the actress!
The note reads, “Dearest Deepika Padukone! Congratulations on being one of the presenters at this year’s Oscar ceremony! Every time you climb one step higher on the ladder of success, we at Actor Prepare you to feel proud to have been part of your journey. On a personal note, as your teacher, I always knew the sky is not the limit. You will go beyond. Love and blessings always. Congratulations for ‘Pathaan’ too! Jai Ho.”
Anupam Kher, a producer and an amazing actor has worked in both Indian and international films. He is considered one of the most versatile film actors. He has worked in Hindi and a few English, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu language films in India. He has played a variety of characters, including numerous critically acclaimed leading or parallel roles.
His accolades include two National Film Awards and eight Filmfare Awards. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 2004 and the Padma Bhushan in 2016 for his contribution to Indian cinema and arts. He has served as the Chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification and the National School of Drama in India. He was also appointed as the Chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India.
Kher has always made his fans proud with his work. Whether it is a negative role or a comic role or an intense role, Kher has proved his versatility in different genres time and again.
By and large, his contribution in Indian cinema has been quite big. DP getting appreciation from such a personality is a big thing of course.
