Ghar More Pardesiya’ from ‘Kalank’ Featuring Alia Bhatt Receives Shoutout from The Academy
It was quite surprising but sweet, the song “Ghar More Pardesiya” from Abhishek Varman’s 2019 period romance film, Kalank, has attracted the attention of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. One of the dance numbers, this song is by the lovely Alia Bhatt, sung by the talented Shreya Ghoshal, All that this one does is show off Alia’s excellent Kathak dancing.
The Academy’s Recognition: Five years after its release, it got a shoutout from The Academy which can be considered quite a significant one. Though, she had got appreciation for her song ‘Deewani Mastani’ in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani earlier this year, she is currently gaining significant recognition as a behemoth talent in Indian music.
