Over the years OTT platforms have completely taken over. Web series have replaced daily soaps. Earlier, TV shows enjoyed a huge fandom. Shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasuati Zindagi ki, Bade Ache lagte hai, and many more kept the audience hooked. Today, there is a plethora of creative content available on the internet and people have multiple choices. In fact, a lot of young Indians do not even bother to watch TV. Be it entertainment or news, they consume most of the content from the internet. So does it mean TV content has become obsolete?  Well, the answer is NO. Yes, people are more inclined towards OTT platforms, but there are so many Indian Television shows that are worth watching. 1.      Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya season 2

Starring Pooja Gor and Arhan Behll in lead roles, the show is worth a watch. Pooja Gor plays a fierce Lawyer in the show and their soaring chemistry will keep you hooked. If you have watched the first season of the show, you will know about the crackling chemistry of Krishna – Pratigya and if you haven’t, then you should start watching. The show airs on Star Bharat, Monday – Friday at 8:30 Pm.

2.      Anupamaa

You can watch this beautiful show Monday – Saturday at 10 pm only on Star Plus. It has become quite popular in Indian households. Many parts of the story will leave you amazed. The main character is quite progressive and Rupali Ganguly has made this character relatable and refreshing. The show touched on the topic of divorce has beautifully shown it on the screen.

3.Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke  season 3

The show will air on Sony TV from Monday – Friday starring Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes in lead roles. After two successful seasons, the makers are back with season 3. The promos are quite promising and fans are eagerly waiting to be part of Dev – Sonakshi’s fairy tale romance. The first episode of the new season will air on July 12, 2021.

4.Laxmi Ghar Ayi

Another show on Star Bharat that will keep you hooked. The first episode aired on July 5 and the show talks about Dowry, the Pandemic that never ends. The first two episodes of the show were quite promising. We are looking forward to watching some interesting episodes in the future. You can also watch it  Monday – Friday at 8 pm on Star Bharat.

5. Shakti : Ek Astitva Ka Ehsaas

The show has become quite popular after Rubina Dilaik joined the star cast. After the successful first season of Shakti, the makers made a comeback with the second season. And guess what? The concept is receiving a lot of love from the fans.  You can watch the show on Colors TV – Monday – Sunday at 8 pm.

6. Molkki

The show talks about a victim of bride buying, a social evil that is present in India. The brilliant star cast will keep you hooked and it is definitely worth a watch. It is aired on Colors TV Monday – Friday at 10 Pm.

A lot of people complain about the toxic content that is often promoted on Indian television. But definitely, there are shows which are like a breath of fresh air.
