5 Simple yet Important things that Dhairya of ‘Aspirants’ taught us

Why Dhairya of Aspirants is our favorite character from the web series?

TVF released its series Aspirants on April 7, 2021. The series garnered a lot of love from the fans. It is a story about three friends who live in old Rajinder Nagar and are preparing for UPSC. The web series is shot in two different timelines –the past and the present in which the past captures the drama and struggle behind being a UPSC aspirant.

Be it Sandeep Bhaiya, SK, Guri or Abhilash, all the characters had a lot to offer. All the characters were phenomenally played by the actors.  But the character of Dhairya left a mark on us.  Here are 5 simple yet important things that Dhairya of Aspirants taught us and we have to admit nobody could have played it better than Namita Dubey.  She brought life to the character and made it so relatable.

Here is why Dhairya of Aspirants is winning hearts!

Always look at the brighter side

The way she tells Abhilash that it is important to look at the bright side. Dhairya always looks at the brighter side of life and doesn’t like to crib. Dhairya tells this to Abhilash too that one should be focused on finding solutions and not cribbing about problems.

Be Honest because that’s important

Dhairya is honest. She loved Abhilash but she always gave him honest feedback. Sometimes being honest with others actually helps them to do better in life. She never gave him extra marks just because they were in love with each other. Dhairya helped Abhilash to change his perspective.

Her goal and aim was clear

Dhairya wanted to work on eradicating drug addiction among children. She was clear that she will take this up even if she doesn’t crack UPSC. It was her plan A and Plan B and she was eventually running an NGO for the cause. In life, we have to set clear goals in order to achieve them. Well, not everyone can do that but we can at least try. The major takeaway from Dhairya’s character was to keep goals clear.

Sometimes you are just an integral part of someone else journey and that’s okay!

Dhairya was an important part of Abhilash’s journey. She changed his perspective towards life and how to handle things in a positive way.  But they didn’t land up together. She was destined to marry Guri. To simply put, you can be an integral part of someone’s journey but not their destination and that’s fine.

It is all about making an impact

It is not always about getting the biggest share. If you have the potential you can leave a mark even with the smallest share. Dhairya aka Namita Dubey didn’t have many scenes in the series. Her role was short but impactful.  And that’s the whole point. It is about how much life you bring to the character. Dhairya remains our favourite character in the series.

Talking about Namita Dubey, she is an Indian television actress who is best known for playing Meera Raizada in Bade Bhaiya Ki Dulhaniya and Pooja Hooda in Bepannah.  She has been a part of many successful shows and films such as Lipstick Under My Burkha and many more.

Born on November 22, 1990, she hails from Lucknow. Interestingly, her father is a retired IAS officer and her grandfather also was a retired IAS officer.  Her first film was Mai Tera Hero in which made a guest appearance. After appearing in Aspirants she is riding high on success! We wish her loads of luck in her future.
