By One World News: In Andhra Pradesh’s Annamaya district, a tragic Tomato Crop Guard Murder took place as farmer Madhukar Reddy was strangled to death while protecting his crop, raising safety concerns for farmers in the region.This incident marks the second such death reported in the region within the last seven days, raising concerns over safety and security of farmers.

DSP Kesappa, who arrived at the scene, has initiated an investigation into the case to uncover the motives behind the heinous act and identify the culprits responsible for the farmer’s murder.

Tomato Trader Murdered:

Previously, another distressing incident occurred in the area, where a 62-year-old man named Rajasekhar Reddy was allegedly killed by robbers seeking money. Rajasekhar had recently made a substantial amount of Rs 30 lakh by selling 70 crates of tomatoes in the highly acclaimed tomato market, known as the biggest in Asia, located in Madanapalle.

The surge in tomato prices had brought in significant earnings for Rajasekhar, but it also made him a target for criminal activities. The alarming frequency of such incidents highlights the need for enhanced security measures to protect farmers and their livelihoods.
