PM Modi 73rd Birthday: Today, on his birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC), YashoBhoomi, located in Delhi’s Dwarka. The inauguration ceremony is set for 11 am. In a tweet, the Prime Minister expressed his confidence that Phase-1 of YashoBhoomi, a cutting-edge convention and expo center, will become a highly sought-after destination for conferences and meetings, attracting delegates from across the globe.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the advanced features of the state-of-the-art convention center, YashoBhoomi. He noted that YashoBhoomi embodies sustainability with its modern wastewater treatment system, rainwater harvesting provisions, and Platinum certification from the Indian Green Building Council. Additionally, a new Metro station, ‘YashoBhoomi Dwarka Sector 25,’ will be inaugurated, enhancing connectivity between this iconic venue and the Delhi Metro Airport Express.

YashoBhoomi is set to rank among the world’s largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities, boasting a project area exceeding 8.9 lakh square meters and a total built-up area exceeding 1.8 lakh square meters.
Spanning over 73,000 square meters, the convention centre includes 15 convention rooms, among which are the main auditorium, a ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms. Collectively, these spaces have a remarkable capacity to accommodate up to 11,000 delegates.

Traffic Advisory for Today’s Inaugural Event:

Delhi Traffic Police has issued advisories for commuters due to the inaugural event. The route from NH-48 to Nirmal Dham Nala (UER-1I) will be impacted throughout the day. Commuters are urged to avoid UER-II (NH-48 to Nirmal Dham Nala).
Instead, consider these alternative routes:
Najafgarh from NH-8: Use Bijwasan Najafgarh Road.
NH-48 via UER-II from Najafgarh/Dwarka: Take a left turn at Dhulsiras Chowk towards Dwarka Sector-23 and utilize Road No. 224.
Gurugram from Dwarka: Travel via Dhuisiras Road towards Bamnoli Village and access Najafgarh Bijwasan Road.
Residents of Dwarka Sub-city and West Delhi can use the Palam Flyover to reach their destinations.
To minimize inconveniences, it’s advisable for the general public to plan their journeys in advance.
