A minor 6 year old Girl was raped on Saturday in Seelampur; The suspect is a neighbor and runs a flour mill in the area.
According to the police, the incident happened in north east Delhi’s Seelampur area on Saturday. A 6-year-old minor girl was allegedly raped by a neighbour. The police said they haven’t arrested the accused yet. Joy Tirkey, the Chief Commissioner of Police in DC, stated that the suspect has been recognized and will be apprehended shortly.

According to the police, the minor had gone outside to play and the suspect who owns a flour mill in the area allured her to a secluded place where he raped her. Subsequently, the girl was taken for a medical assessment.

Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses :
The case has been filed under sections 376 and 354 of the Indian Penal Code, as well as the appropriate sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. According to a police officer taking charge of the situation, the accused is currently on the run, and law enforcement teams are actively searching for him.
