Court Eases Rules for Jacqueline Fernandez to Accommodate Career Needs.

In a recent development, the Delhi court has granted actress Jacqueline Fernandez the authorization to travel abroad without the need for prior permission. This decision comes as a relief to the actress who is entangled in a money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar, with allegations amounting to Rs 200 crore.

Special Judge Shailendra Malik acknowledged the importance of professional opportunities for the actress and recognized her consistent adherence to the bail conditions. These considerations led the judge to declare that requiring prior permission for foreign travel might hinder her career and livelihood.

The court clarified that the intention behind imposing travel conditions was to ensure the accused’s availability for investigation and trial, minimising the possibility of fleeing from the legal process. To strike a balance between these concerns and her professional aspirations, the court instructed Jacqueline to inform the Enforcement Directorate (ED) three days prior to her departure, providing essential details such as destination, duration, and contact information.

The actress sought modification of the bail order, emphasising the considerable delays in court proceedings. She expressed how these delays led to missed opportunities, causing potential financial setbacks and harm to her reputation due to event organisers selecting alternatives.

In reaching this decision, the court has taken into account both the legal aspects and the practical implications on Jacqueline’s career. It aims to strike a balance between ensuring the legal process is followed and allowing individuals the freedom to pursue their professional aspirations without unnecessary hindrances.
