Powerful 6.2 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Delhi-NCR, Followed by Nepal Tremors – Stay Safe and Informed


Today, Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad experienced a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2, causing significant tremors throughout the capital and the NCR region. These seismic shocks were preceded by two earlier earthquakes in Nepal, measuring 4.6 in magnitude, occurring at a depth of 10 kilometres, and another earthquake of 6.2 magnitudes.

Delhi-NCR Seismic Alert

These events unfolded in Nepal with only a 25-minute interval between them. The National Centre for Seismology provided this information. Strong tremors were felt in the Delhi-NCR area during Tuesday afternoon, raising concerns about seismic activity in the region. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, and residents are advised to stay alert and follow safety protocols.
