On Monday, ACP Of Pune city, Maharashtra shot his wife and nephew before shooting himself in his house
ACP Of Pune allegedly shot dead his spouse and nephew with a gun before shooting himself fatally at his home in Maharashtra’s Pune metropolis on Monday, an official said.

The incident took place at around 3.30 am at ACP Bharat Gaikwad’s bungalow in Baner area. Gaikwad was posted as ACP in Amaravati and had come home. The cause behind the incident has to be ascertained, the legitimate Chaturshringi police station stated.

At around 3.30 am on Monday, the ACP first allegedly shot his spouse in the head. Upon listening to the gunshot, his son and nephew came running and opened the door. The moment they opened the door, he allegedly shot at his nephew, who was hit within the chest, the police said. “Later Gaikwad shot himself in the head. all the 3 died instantly,” he stated.
The deceased identified are police officer’s wife Moni Gaikwad (44) and nephew Deepak (35), he stated.
