China firmly rejected the US President demand Donald Trump’s demand to allow the American team to conduct an investigation in Wuhan regarding the origin of the novel coronavirus. The US had launched an investigation to find out if the virus fled away from Wuhan Institute of Virology to the wet market in Wuhan.
US President was always seen attacking China saying that the Chinese Communist Party failed to accurately report its number of coronavirus cases after virus broke in Wuhan, which hampered the response of the United States.
Donald Trump even gave warning to China and said, “If it was a mistake, a mistake is a mistake, “But if they were knowingly responsible, then surely there would be consequences.”
Two Congress members from Republican Party – Dan Crenshaw of Texas and Tom Cotton of Arkansas– introduced legislation last week that would allow Americans to sue China in federal court for economic damage and deaths caused by the coronavirus.
Even after four months of mayhem, the origin of the virus remains a mystery as it hasn’t been established that COVID-19 originated from Wuhan, as no evidence was found.
A recent fox news investigation revealed that classified Chinese documents showed that the Wuhan wet market, which was initially identified as a possible point of origin never originally sold bats.
US intelligence implied that wet market is just another effort of Chinese authorities to deflect the blame from the laboratories to the wet market.

What did the Australian Foreign Minister say?
Australian also joined hands with the US President Donald Trump and asked for an independent international investigation into the response of China against the deadly outbreak. Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne said that she has serious concerns about China’s transparency in their response to aware the world about the virus. She said, “The issues around the coronavirus are issues for independent review, and I think that it is important that we do that.” She said the WHO shouldn’t conduct the investigation.
What the UK said?
The UK also joined the US and criticised China for cover-up of the scale of coronavirus at its outbreaks as well as the enigmatic origin of the COVID-19. The UK along with American intelligence is looking into the secretive Wuhan Institute of Virology and the history of this lab’s bat virus experiments.
Sky News reported that the United Kingdom has joined the United States and other intelligence communities in looking at all possibilities of establishing the source of coronavirus pandemic.
How china defended the allegation?
Geng Shuang, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson gave answers on all the accusations being made against China. Geng in reply to Australian foreign minister said that origin of the virus is a serious scientific issue, which requires an assessment from scientists. We hope Australia (will) look at the issue in objective and meticulous manner.
Pointing to HIV/AIDS, the 2008 financial crisis in America which led to economic crisis globally and H1N1 influenza which was detected in the US, 2009, he asked, “did anyone ask US accountability?”
The Chinese spokesperson also turned down Australian Foreign Minister’s call for an international inquiry into coronavirus including its origins in China.
He said that the performance of China in containing the virus is well recognised. Doubts in transparency are not in line with the facts and it disrespects the huge scarifies and arduous efforts made by Chinese people.

Geng said that a number of scientists and the World Health Organization said that there is no evidence for allegation of Luc Montagnier, a noble prize-winning scientist in France. Significantly, Luc Montagnier’s had earlier said that the covid-19 came from a lab, and is the result of an attempt to manufacture a vaccine against HIV/AIDS.
Shuang while talking about China’s accomplishments said that from March 1 to April 17, 29.19 million surgical protective suits, China has provided 1.64 billion masks, 156 invasive ventilators and 4254 non-invasive ventilators to other countries so far.
