Who is Rashmi Desai?
Rashmi Desai started her career by working in Hindi and regional films. She débuted her film career with Assamese film Kanyadaan in the year 2002. In the same year, she gave her Hindi début film Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke. Desai has given many films in Bhojpuri, Gujarati, however, she gained popularity in the TV industry only. Especially, when essayed the role of grownup Tapasya Thakur in the hit serial Uttaran. On the set of the Uttaran, she found love in her co-star Nandish Sandhu. In the year 2012, the duo even tied a knot but this marriage did not last long.

Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu started having trouble in their marriage at a year. As per reports, Rashmi was in an abusive marriage and left home.
However, in Nach Baliye season 7, the couple appeared together to give a second chance to their marriage. In the season, they never hid the reality of their relationship, rough patches of weeding lives, battling miscarriage, and many more. But none of the efforts could save their marriage and they got divorced after 4 years.
Rashmi even revealed the real reasons for her divorce. In an interview with ABP, Rashmi said that Nadish had numerous close female friends. “If Nandish had given his 100% to the relationship, then our marriage would not have ended. I never had problems with his female friends as I was busy with my work.”
