Meet 35 –year- old Megan Markle, Toronto based actress cum entrepreneur. Once married and divorced, Megan is in the news again not for her acting skill, but her friendship with Prince Harry of United Kingdom. According to Canadian news paper, Prince Harry was in Toronto recently in connection with a charity work nourished by Megan.
Megan did not make it official or Prince Harry but according to reliable source she met Harry’s family recently and it was a good beginning. “I am a luckiest person on earth today, I am going to India in January next year in connection with charity work for a girl’s progrfamme” Megan said when asked about the relationship.
Best known for her role as Rache Zane on the TV legal Drama The Suits and CBI officer in a sc-fi thriller Fringe, Megan was born and grown up In California and did diploma in international relations and a double major in theatre, “As a child I was attracted to acting and doing charity work. It was in my blood my mom was into it. I think Poor and downtrodden needs our help and attention. Everybody is having a role to play and I am doing my bit,” Megan informed.
In 2016 Megan became the Global Ambassador for World Vision Canada propagating the Clean Water campaign.”I was thrilled when I was asked to take a much challenging programme like working as an Advocate for United Nations Entity for Gender and Empowerment of the women. I had an opportunity to even travel to Afghanistan with the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff on a USO tour,” Megan said.
While doing films she was attracted to designing clothes. Recently she churned out her first collection of ladies wear with Canadian clothing company Reitmans. “I always like beautiful clothes and had opportunities to meet designers like Tom Fort. My TV serial was of a stylish girl who loves fashion and food. Lot of my personal style is reflected in my collection. Personally I like jeans and tops and usually I avoid prints,’ Megan said.
