The countdown is finally over and the much-awaited Lollapalooza India 2026 lineup has been revealed, sending waves of excitement across the music community. The iconic festival, now in its fourth edition, promises an unforgettable experience as Linkin Park and Playboi Carti headline the two-day celebration on January 24th and 25th, 2026 in Mumbai. Known for blending global icons with breakthrough talent, this year’s edition raises the bar higher, uniting music fans across genres, generations and cultures.
The biggest headline of the year is undoubtedly the arrival of Linkin Park, marking their first-ever performance in India. For over two decades, their groundbreaking fusion of rock and rap has shaped the lives of millions, with tracks like In the End, Numb and Crawling becoming generational anthems. Having sold over 100 million records worldwide and winning multiple GRAMMYs, the band continues to remain relevant with new hits like Lost and Friendly Fire. Sharing the spotlight is Playboi Carti, hip-hop’s enigmatic disruptor, making his India debut with an explosive set. Known for his cult-like following and redefining modern rap, Carti’s discography includes era-defining tracks such as Magnolia, Sky and Stop Breathing. His latest album Music, where all 30 tracks entered the Billboard Hot 100, cemented his place as one of hip-hop’s most innovative forces. For the first time, Indian fans will witness Carti live, alongside his Opium labelmates Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang, delivering a fiery collective set that promises chaos and raw energy.
But the lineup doesn’t stop there. YUNGBLUD, the British sensation, is set to bring his punk-driven chaos, cathartic energy and message of inclusivity to Mumbai. Meanwhile, Kehlani will add soul and emotion with their unique blend of R&B, pop and neo-soul, creating moments of both power and vulnerability. The festival will also showcase the electrifying beats of Knock2, the 25-year-old EDM prodigy whose tracks like dashstar and Room202 shows have already reached cult status among global dance music fans.
On the pop and electronic side, fans can look forward to shimmering performances from LANY, Sammy Virji, Fujii Kaze, The Midnight and Canadian rock luminaries Mother Mother, who celebrate two decades in music. India’s own globally renowned metal band Bloodywood will bring their signature folk-metal fusion, proving once again why they are one of the country’s most successful international exports. Adding to the emotional highs will be singer-songwriter Calum Scott, known for his heartfelt ballads that have captured hearts worldwide.
The diversity continues with Nubiyan Twist’s Afro-jazz-funk grooves, Hamdi’s UKG and grime influences, and Baalti’s indie-electronic take on South Asian sounds. German sensation BUNT. will bring his infectious fusion of folk instruments with house music to the stage, while homegrown stars like Ankur Tewari & The Ghalat Family, Karsh Kale, and OAFF-Savera will represent India’s indie vanguard. Rising Indian talents such as MXRCI, Sen, Zoya, Gini, Pacifist, Zokova, Gauley Bhai, Nate08, Pho, EXCISE DEPT, Still in Therapy, Rudy Mukta, Rounak Maiti, Sijya, Sunflower Tape Machine and Trance Effect will take their shot at the big stage, continuing Lollapalooza’s legacy of spotlighting new voices.
Beyond music, Lollapalooza India 2026 promises an immersive cultural experience. With stunning art installations, the ever-popular Lolla Food Park, and a dedicated #LollaForChange initiative focused on community and inclusivity, the festival will once again stand as a celebration of more than just sound—it’s about people, connection and shared energy.
As BookMyShow Live continues to spearhead the Indian edition in collaboration with global producers Perry Farrell and C3 Presents, Lollapalooza India’s fourth edition cements its position as the country’s most ambitious and inclusive music festival. With legends like Linkin Park, disruptors like Playboi Carti and an army of global and Indian talent, Mumbai is all set to host a weekend that will echo in memory long after the final note fades.
