1. Samantha Ruth Prabhu
The highlight of the week remained the separation news of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple announced their separation on their social media profiles. Notably, the couple filed for divorce after 4 years of their marriage. Notably, Naga Chaitanya is the son of famous South Indian actor Nagarjuna. In fact, Nagarjuna reacted to his son’s divorce, called it unfortunate and wished both of them good luck in their future.
2. Supreme Court Asked Indian Army to explain why 72 women were rejected for Permanent Commission A bench headed by Justices DY Chandrachud and BV Nagarathna restricted the army to release 72 women who were not considered for Permanent commission until the further hearing of the matter. Apart from it, the Indian Army has been also asked to submit its response explaining the reason why the women officers were not considered for the service. The next hearing of the case has been scheduled for October 8.

3. Delhi 19- Year- old domestic help found Dead in Lajpat Nagar
According to reports, a 19-year-old domestic help in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi was found dead at a house. According to police, the woman reached Lajpat Nagar to work at her employer’s place at 7 am and was found dead after an hour in the house. The Police are currently investigating the matter.
4. Maj General Smita Devrani appointed as Additional Director General of Military Nursing services
Major General Smita Devrani took charge as Additional Director of Military Nursing Service on October 1, 2021. Notably, her incredible academic record is quite impressive. She completed her graduation from the University of Delhi and did her post-graduate diploma in Hospital and Healthcare management. Interestingly, she has a Six Sigma Certificate, Quality Control Management, Infection Control, and prevention management from National Care Academy in Singapore.
