The Supreme Court has rejected an urgent hearing on a petition demanding CBI to confirm the nationality of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
A Petition was filed in the Supreme Court against Rahul Gandhi seeking a direction to the CBI to register a case against Rahul Gandhi for declaring himself a British national before the company law authorities.
The Petition was filed by advocate M. L. Sharma, also urged the the court to order registration of a criminal charges for cheating and forgery against Rahul Gandhi.
Subramanian Swamy has alleged that Rahul Gandhi had floated the company Backops Limited declaring himself as a British citizen with a UK address.
