Researchers at Queen University along with some more colleagues have invented world’s first porous liquid that can prevent carbon emission to enter earth atmosphere.
This liquid can dissolve large amount of gases, which will be further absorbed into the holes of liquid. The research has even pave more efficient and greener chemical processes.
The empty holes in the liquid have ability to dissolve large amount of unusual gases that is difficult for a solid porous substance.
“It will take few more years for the research but if it would find applications for these liquid applications, it will result in improved chemical process”, say scientists.
