The Delhi High Court has said that Najeeb Jung will remain the administrative head of National Capital Territory and therefore was not bound to act as per the advice of Delhi government.
High Court ‘s decision came as the major setback for the Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The Court also said that Article 239 continues to remain in Delhi, which makes it a Union territory. The court also added that with this Council of Ministers of Delhi cannot take any decision referring it first to LG.

Currently, Arvind Kejriwal is on a vipassana or meditation course in hill station of Dharamsala. According to reports, its government has said that they will challenge the verdict and will move to Supreme Court.
