Supreme Court announced sentence to death for all four culprits in Nirbhya case
16 December 2012 bought tsunami of shocked in India. A young girl was brutally raped by six people in a bus. Just after news broke, the entire country was united against the crime of rape. Capital Delhi had witnessed a lot of agitation. Nirbhya was shifted to Singapore for treatment, where she was declared dead after few days.
Today, since morning millions of people were waiting for the decision of Supreme Court. Main culprits Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur, Pawan Gupta, Mukesh Singh Ram Singh and one juvenile behaved none less than wild animals. Ram Singh committed suicide in Tihar Jail. Finally, the Supreme Court considered this case as rarest of rarest and announced sentence to death to all four culprits.
According to reports, when the decision was announced the court witnessed a sound of huge clapping. Entire country is celebrating the decision of Supreme Court. It’s a huge victory for every rape survivor and for every mother who lost her daughter in such a shameful act. Nirbhya parents eyes were filled with tears when decision was announced.
