ASICS inaugurates ASICS India

 

ASICS Corporation (“Anima Sana In Corpore Sano”, meaning “a sound mind in a sound body”) has launched its independent operation in India. To celebrate this occasion, the company organized an ASICS Fashion show in Delhi. The fashion show revealed the sportswear to be made available in India for the customers. Mr. Javagal Srinath, was the guest of honor for the evening and others prominent figures present at the event were: Mr. Kikuta, Charge d’ Affaires ad interim, Embassy of Japan, Japanese Embassy and Mr. Motoi Oyama, President and Chief Executive Officer, Representative Director, ASICS Corporation.

Talking on the occasion, Mr. Javagal Srinath spoke about the company that it is one of those sporting gear companies which combines new discoveries about the human body with the latest advancement in technology to develop and design their product. He further expressed his excitement about the launch of the brand in India wherein people are so passionate about sports. Adding further, Mr. Motoi Oyama, President and Chief Executive Officer, Representative Director, ASICS Corporation said, “At ASICS we are committed to improving lives through sports and ensuring that we provide our customers with valuable products and services. I am delighted to be present here for the launch of ASICS India. The Indian market is a key market in ASICS global growth strategy and we are hopeful that this launch will help us strengthen our position.”

Expressing his excitement of entering the India sport’s market, The Director of ASICS India Pvt Ltd.,Mr. Rajat Khurana said that they are glad to enter the Indian market and believe that this country would provide them an exciting market for the company and are confident that they would do well here. ASICS, which is the fourth prominent company in sporting goods industry, was the main sponsor for the Australian Cricket national team who won for the recently held World Cup 2015.
