The Airbus A380 is a double –deck, wide body, four engine jet airliners manufactured by Airbus. It is the World’s largest passenger Airliner, and the airports in which it operates have upgraded facilities to accommodate it.

Most of the passengers who got injured in the incident were not wearing seat belts. Aviation experts have urged passengers to wear seat belts throughout the flight, even when it is not mandatory.

Turbulence is caused by irregular motion of air and brings out rapid jolts and bumps to an aircraft, which can cause the aircraft to lose it momentum in severe cases. So, it is better to take precautions to save yourself from serious injuries.

A similar incident took place in mid-July this year when a South Africa plane, crossing Malaysian airspace, was hit with severe turbulence. In that incident 25 passengers and 3 crew members got seriously injured and were in a critical condition.

Authorities are investigating the incident to find out the cause for the incident and prevent it in future flights.
