  • What are your needs?

Before you begin to decide which laptop you need to buy, identify and write down your needs. Some important points to consider here are-

  1. What do you want to use it for?
  2. How much space do you need?
  3. The processor speed
  4. The generation
  5. Does it support Microsoft Office?
  6. Does it have a good battery life?
  7. Does it have a good look?
  8. Does it come with a bag?

Once you answer these questions, try looking for something that fits these needs.

  • Go for a trusted brand

Many times, in our attempt to save money, we end up buying things from not very reputable or trusted brands and this causes more harm in the long run. Always go for a brand that has a good review and is reliable. Big brands like Hp, Dell, and Lenovo do not disappoint and will also have service centers all over.

  • Weight and Size

Chances are that you will have to carry your laptop everywhere if you are a student. So choose a laptop that is easily portable, is not too huge, and is light. Lightweight laptops will just make your life easier.

  • Who doesn’t love a good deal?

Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance have crazy Sales that offer electronic items at deep discounts. Go for such deals to get a higher-priced laptop for a lower price that also falls in your budget.

  • Do not buy into the hype

Many students will buy into the hype of buying fancy new laptops with touch screens or choose only to buy Apple products that are extremely costly. But, if you want something in the budget, it is important to focus on WHY you need the product rather than buying it to show off. There is no point in buying into the hype and exceeding your budget.

Hence, choosing the correct investment for learning is essential. Take these points into consideration and invest wisely when deciding the future course of your studies as well as other important needs.
