Google removes app used by Pakistan to spy Indian Army

Google Android app called SmeshApp , which was used by Pakistani agencies to spy on the Indian army has been removed according to a report.

This has come after a leading daily published a report saying that the application is used for tactical information as well as to snoop staff members of the military.

The covert spyware itself has a call and chat application. Once installed, the application could steal information such as phone calls, text messages, photographs, and even track the GPS coordinates of the user.

That information was then sent to a server in Germany that is hosted by a man named Sajid Rama, who is based in Karachi.
