The company has already sent out media invites for a press conference in Delhi, but the invite has no details about the products. Notably, Samsung at CSE 2017 stated that the wearables would support iOS devices but the invite only hinted at Gear S3 that is due to be launched in India.

The Samsung Products has been already listed on Amazon India website and has a price tag of Rs. 54, 364 for the two variants. The two variants are Gear S3 classic and Gear S3 frontier

Frontier model of Gear S3 will come with a cellular radio chip that allows the smartwatch to connect to high- speed 4G mobile networks

Samsung has priced the devices at very high rates and it has raised a lot of questions

The both the smartwatches sport large faces and seem to be aimed at male consumers

Notably, the watches need to be tethered to a Smartphone to make calls and to connect with internet. Interestingly, this is feature that is currently not existent even in market – leader Apple’s current generation smartwatches
