India comes into the World Cup having lost the recent tri-series finale to South Africa, a match which they should have won. And not only this, but they also lost the warm-up game against Australia before beating Bangladesh.
And now, the women’s India team is expected to reach the ICC’s semifinals again but if they are to beat mighty Australia, they have to up their game in all matches.

SMRITI MANDHANA RULED OUT WITH FINGER INJURY
India Women’s Cricket Team has suffered a major blow ahead of the Women’s T20 World Cup opener against arch-rivals Pakistan after vice-captain Smriti Mandhana was ruled out with a finger injury.
The management of the Indian team expected her to heal in time for the mega clash between India vs Pakistan after Mandhana suffered the injury during the warm-up.
However, the PTI agency has recently reported that she is likely to miss the match against the arch-rivals.
