Poor visibility due to dense fog in Delhi has affected arrival and departure of several trains of Indian Railways Northern India. Visibility in the morning was recorded below 200 meters.
The minimum temperature in the morning was recorded at 7.2 degrees Celsius, a mark below the average temperature of the season. The maximum temperature was around 19.2 degrees Celsius, two marks below the average temperature of the season.
According to officials of Northern Railways, “Two trains were rescheduled and three were cancelled while departure of 24 others delayed due to the dense fog in Delhi and other parts of Northern India.”
