Things that you ‘Should not Include’ In Your CV

Making a CV with professional, articulate and accurate manner is always a winning point over putting the twist and turns on your CV.

Here are the few points to follow if you want to have an appropriate CV –

1. Do not ever write blatant lies!

The survey was done on this subject and blatant lies were a popular choice of most of the admirers. Few of the cases that came out are, one candidate claimed to be the former CEO of the company to which he was applying, another claimed to be a Nobel Prize winner, and one more claimed he attended a college that didn’t exist.

2. An objective is something which is NOT required when it comes to CV.

If you have applied for the job, it’s obviously known that you want the job. If you’re in a unique situation like changing industries completely, writing of objective might work.

3. Irrelevant work experiences.

Jotting down something that is not important to the field you are applying is irrelevant.

4. Your hobbies will not benefit the company in anyway

Nobody cares. If it’s not relevant to the job you’re applying for.

5. Avoid writing personal stuff

Do not include any personal stuff like your marital status, religious preference, or Social Security number.
