Xolo Q600s vs Moto E

Ever since its inception, Indian brand XOLO has been a tough competitor for other multinational brands in India. More recently, the Moto E has had a brush at the market with the stylish Xolo Q600s. Both the handsets are priced more or less the same with Xolo Q600s ranging a little higher than the Moto E. but there is no denying the fact that both these handsets are rivals in the herd of smartphones in India.

Xolo Q600s : 4.5 inches (540 x 960 pixels)

Review : Though Xolo provides a little bigger display, it does not make a huge difference between both sets as quality wise Moto E is superior.


CPU

Moto E : 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 (Dual Core)

Xolo Q600s : 1.2 GHz (Quad Core)

Review : Both the handsets have a 1.2 GHz processor, but the number of cores makes the difference. Xolo Q600s has a quad core processor which allows much better multi-processing.

Internal Memory

Moto E : 4 GB expandable up to 32 GB

Xolo Q600s : 4 GB expandable up to 64 GB

Review : Memory expandability with microSD is much more in Xolo Q600s which offers the users to save double the data than Moto E.


Rear Camera

Moto E : 5 MP with video recording of 854×480@30fps

Xolo Q600s : 5 MP with autofocus and LED flash and video recording of 720p HD

Review : Both the handsets are available with a same range of camera but Xolo Q600s offers HD video recording and the Moto E doesn’t. Also, Xolo Q600s has an LED flash to capture better, even in low light conditions.


Front Camera

Moto E : Not Available

Xolo Q600s : VGA

Review : Moto E does not offer a front camera, which does not allow suitable video calls to the user.


Operating System

Moto E : Android 4.4.2 Kitkat

Xolo Q600s : Android 4.4.2 Kitkat

Review : Both the handsets are very economical. They offer Android’s latest version ‘4.4.2 Kitkat’, which is appreciable.

Battery

Moto E : Non-removable Li-Ion 1980 mAh battery

Xolo Q600s : 2000 mAh battery

Review : Many users prefer to have a non-removable battery in their handsets, to avoid getting it split open, once on the ground. Both the preferences are acceptable as it determines the backup of the phone.


Ram

Moto E : 1 GB

Xolo Q600s : 1 GB


Moto E and Xolo Q600s are both dual SIM phones, but one thing the buyer needs to know is that, Moto E’s network runs only on a micro SIM. Both the smartphones do offer 3G connection. Moto E has a curvaceous look whereas, the Xolo Q600s comes in an angular shape, giving them both a distinctive appeal.


Xolo’s Q600s and Motorola’s Moto E are the handsets which one should compare before going to buy any one of them. Moto E and Xolo Q600s are only available on Flipkart and Snapdeal, with Snapdeal offering various gifts with Xolo Q600s.
