Apple’s Next Big Releases: iPhone 17, 2026 MacBook Pro Upgrades.
Apple continues to dominate the tech landscape, and anticipation is always high for their next wave of innovations.
Apple iPhone 17 to 2026 MacBook Pro: Upcoming Apple Launch Highlights
Apple iPhone 17 Series: September 2025 Unveil with Major Changes. The iPhone 17 line is creating quite a hype, and it will probably start its sales in the middle of Sep. 2025. The release could happen somewhere in the second or the third week of the month with the pre-orders and general availability soon after, based on the release patterns before.
The iPhone 17 is expected to be available in four models: standard, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, as well as a new iPhone 17 Air this year. The model called Air is of special interest, as leaks reported that the device will be ultra thin, with design the priority.
* Display Upgrades: The base iPhone 17 and the Pro variants will both sport ProMotion OLED display at 120Hz, which is a major upgrade to the basic model. This would deliver more fluid visuals and smoother scrolling on the whole lineup. There is also a possibility of standard iPhone 17 and 17 Pro having the display size increased to 6.3 inches.
* Improved camera: Apple is supposed to offer an improved camera on all four models of the iPhone 17; it will include an improved front camera, up to 24 megapixels (much more than the 12 megapixels offered today). Upgraded versions of the Pro phones are also likely to contain a better 48MP telephoto camera, whereas the primary and ultra-wide snappers might be improved.
Performance improvement: iPhone 17 Pro devices are expected to get Apple next-generation A19 Pro chip, probably constructed in modified 3-nanometer process. This will be introducing great advancements in speed and processing power especially when it comes to intensive AI processing and graphics intensive work.
Design Changes: Compared to the predecessors, the iPhone 17 might still share some features of similarities on design, but the Pro models will adopt a new design that combines a hybrid design between aluminum and glass. It is also testing new color, such as purple and green on the standard iPhone 17 and on the Pro model, it will be the sky blue.
smaller Dynamic Island: Some industry analysts suggest that Apple will implement smaller notches devoted to Face ID on its iPhones as early as 2026, based on speculation that some functionality of Face ID will effectively take place under the display, thus allowing for a smaller Dynamic Island.
2026 MacBook Pro: New Design with OLED and M6 chips
Beyond the size of the MacBook Pro itself, some anticipated improvements for the 2026 MacBook Pros include:
* Thinner: Because of the change to OLED displays, the MacBook Pro could have an overall thinner chassis than previous generations of MacBook Pros—similar to Apple’s example of making products so thin like the M4 iPad Pro.
* Small Punch-Hole Camera, as opposed to a notch: Users of the MacBook Pro series who are tired of the display notch will be happy to know that Apple has been reported to be replacing the notch with a punch-hole camera cutout above the display on the MacBook and MacBook Pro for the webcam.
* Next Generation M6 Chips: Each variation of the 2026 MacBook Pro will have Apple’s next-gen M6 Chips at its center. The M6 chip family is most likely to be Apple’s first chips using TSMC’s advanced 2nm process and Apple’s first chips with substantially improved power-performance. The M6 chips may include M6, M6 Pro, and M6 Max versions in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes.
* Possibly Cellular: Another point of speculation is that Apple is “looking into” enabling cellular connectivity on its MacBook products.
