NASA : Solar storms ventilated earth

Four billion years ago solar storms likely to have given the energy which was needed to warm the Earth, new search has been done.

Four billion years back , the sun showed its colours with 70% of the brightness we see at present, but its surface erupted spewing amounts of sun related material and radiation out into space.

“Back then, Earth received only about three-quarters of the energy from the Sun than it does today,” said Vladimir Airapetian, solar scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

Scientists are trying to sum together the history of the sun by searching for similar stars in our galaxy.
