NASA sets a new record by receiving 18, 300 resumes for 2k17 batch!

The current generation does not hesitate, when it comes to experimenting with new things and same to goes with their career too. Gone are those days when everyone was in the race of becoming doctors and engineers and the recent record is the proof of it.

According to a report by US agency, NASA has got 18,300 resumes from people, who are keen to become astronauts.
Notably, the number of applications for NASA’s 2017 classes is the triple the amount that came in year 2012. In fact, it has broken the record of year 1978 in which NASA received 8, 000 applications.

Well, NASA is expected to announce its new classes in mid of 2017 and after all the selection process only 8 – 14 candidates would be called for training.
