Maruti Suzuki’s Celerio, after its launch early this February 2014 at the Auto Expo, is getting huge response from the customers. Its Automatic manual transmission technology is the most appealing part of its success. It is the first time that an Automatic transmission technology (in cars) is introduced in mass segment. This technology is being considered as a great innovation in the present scenario. Looking at the price, the AMT variants cost only about Rs 40,000 more than the manual variants.
According to the company’s chairman R.C. Bhargava, Maruti Suzuki Celerio is registering 1,000 bookings per day. It’s also getting positive reviews from many analysts.
Celerio is available in six variants. The last variant which is Celerio ZXI opt, has ABS (Anti-lock braking system) technology which allows you to drive better even in slippery and graveled area. For safety and security, Celerio ZXI and ZXI Opt include two front air bags for the driver and co-driver. Celerio comes up with 998cc aluminum engine, it has seating capacity of five persons and fuel tank capacity is 35 litres. It promises to deliver a fuel efficiency of 23.1 kmpl.
Apart from these all, it also provides you options to choose from seven different colors.
